Spring Gingham

Spring has officially showed up in Denver, rain showers and all. So I finally feel like I can start wearing bright colors, lighter layers and fun patterns…cue Gingham.

There’s literally so many things about this look that I love. First, I’m obsessed with this Gingham button-up. I’ve been seeing Gingham everywhere this season, and I especially love the contrasting sleeves on this top.

I also just about died when I found this suede mini skirt. The woven detail on the front of the skirt gives it a fun little western flair, and the suede throws a nice mix of texture into my spring wardrobe.

Finally, the espadrilles.

Because I’m so tall I stay away from most heels or wedges, which means I have a mini pity party because there are so many cute espadrille wedges but I would be a literal giant if I tried to rock those on a casual weekday (this seriously wouldn’t be a problem if I wasn’t single and men weren’t such midgets). BUT these little flats were the perfect compromise for something fun and flirty in the espadrille family. I love the coral color and they were under $30 at Target. SOLD.
